Zamia furfuracea, also known as the Cardboard Plant or the "Cardboard Palm," is a tropical plant native to Mexico and Central America. It is a member of the Cycadaceae family and is known for its thick, spiky leaves and rugged, textured appearance. The plant is slow-growing and is well-suited for indoor cultivation.
To care for your Zamia furfuracea, be sure to provide it with bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. The plant prefers warm temperatures and can tolerate dry conditions, so it is important to allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
It is also a good idea to fertilize your Zamia furfuracea every few months during the growing season with a balanced houseplant fertilizer.
You will receive the plant in a 10" nursery pot. Decorative pot and stand are sold separately. We offer free consultation and repotting at our store.
